President's Message

My dear DSV Community Members

Jai Shree Krushna ! Jai Samudrima !

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for the trust, confidence, and faith you have reposed in me by entrusting me with the responsibility of carrying forward the torch of our community. I feel deeply honoured and equally inspired to continue the remarkable progress achieved through the tireless efforts, dedication, and vision of my predecessors. Their hard work has laid a strong foundation, and it shall always remain our collective endeavor to build upon it and strive to do even better for the welfare of our community.

The foremost objective of myself, and indeed of any President and Managing Committee, is to work wholeheartedly for the betterment of our community — for the upliftment and welfare of every member, for the growth and guidance of our children, and for the empowerment of our women, in whom reside immense strength, talent, capability, and Shakti. A progressive community is one where every individual feels valued, empowered, and connected.

I assume this responsibility with great enthusiasm, positivity, and commitment. I am fortunate to have the wholehearted support of our Committee Members, especially our esteemed office bearers — Shri Rajesh Shrimankar, Shri Mahendra Sheth, and Shri Bipin Lotia, our Treasurer and Secretaries of the Mahajan — along with the constant guidance and support of all the respected Trustees of the Mahajan Wadi Trust.

I would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank several dedicated members who consistently contribute their valuable time and efforts in every Utsav and endeavor of the Mahajan. Among them are Shri Nileshbhai Dhruv, Shri Vijaybhai Selarka, Shri Jayeshbhai Shrimankar, Shri Himanshubhai Mandavia, Shri Deepakbhai Selarka, and many others. It is particularly heartening to witness the enthusiastic participation of our younger generation, including youngsters like Saurabh Malkan, Jay Sheth, and others who have come forward with energy and commitment to contribute towards community activities. Their involvement gives us immense hope and confidence for the future of our community.

The Mahajan has always organized various activities and initiatives for the benefit of our members, and we shall continue to do so with renewed vigor. Through these programs, we aim to bring together members of every age group and every family, thereby strengthening unity, harmony, and a spirit of togetherness within our community. When people come together frequently, interact closely, understand one another, and grow collectively, the bonds of brotherhood become stronger. Only then can we truly say that our efforts are meaningful and successful. Such unity alone can ensure the continuity, prosperity, and perpetuity of our community for generations to come.

I humbly appeal to all our community members to continue extending their generous support and contributions towards all the endeavors and activities undertaken by the Mahajan. Your encouragement and participation are the pillars that sustain and strengthen our collective efforts.

Today, our community comprises approximately 375 families, amounting to nearly 1100 members. This itself reflects the strength and potential we possess together as one family.

I especially urge all parents in our community to dedicate some time, despite their busy schedules, towards community activities and encourage the younger generation within their families to actively participate. Let our youngsters connect with fellow Gnatibandhus, build friendships, and nurture the spirit of brotherhood and belonging. When we know each other better, we stand by each other in times of need, support one another in personal and professional endeavors, and collectively make our community stronger, more cohesive, and more progressive.

With greater participation from our youth and next generation, our community will not only become prosperous but also emerge as a strong and united force to reckon with. Their involvement also motivates and inspires the Managing Committee to organize more meaningful and impactful programs. Suggestions and constructive feedback from all members are always welcome, as they serve as valuable guidance for our future planning and initiatives.

We all understand that these activities and gatherings are not the ultimate goal in themselves. They are simply the medium through which we come together, understand one another, and cultivate within us a deep sense of brotherhood, unity, affection, and mutual support. It is this very spirit that gives us courage, emotional strength, resilience, and confidence.

Going forward, we shall strive to create more platforms and opportunities that encourage the active involvement of our youth, businessmen, doctors, Chartered Accountants, solicitors, professionals, and every section of our community. Let us together make every event and gathering meaningful, successful, and filled with the joy of togetherness.

I warmly invite each one of you to join hands with us in this noble endeavor. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime. Together, with unity of purpose and collective effort, we can achieve great things for the welfare and upliftment of our community.

There is much to accomplish in the years ahead. Let us all work together with dedication, harmony, and a shared vision for a brighter and stronger future for our community.

પ્રિય DSV સભ્યો

આપ સહુંએ મને આપણા સમાજની જવાબદારી સોંપીને જે માન અને વિશ્વાસ આપ્યો છે, તે મારા માટે ગૌરવની સાથે એક મોટી જવાબદારી પણ છે. આપ સહુંએ મારા પર મૂકેલા વિશ્વાસ, સ્નેહ અને આત્મીયતા બદલ હું હૃદયપૂર્વક આભારી છું. આપણા પૂર્વજોએ અને પૂર્વવર્તી આગેવાનોએ પોતાની મહેનત, સમર્પણ અને દુરદર્શિતાથી સમાજને પ્રગતિના માર્ગે આગળ વધાર્યો છે; હવે એ જ યાત્રાને વધુ ઉત્સાહ અને એકતા સાથે આગળ લઈ જવાનો આપણો સહુંનો સંકલ્પ રહેશે.

તેમના પરિશ્રમથી ઉભા થયેલા મજબૂત પાયાને આગળ વધારતાં આપણે સહું સાથે મળીને આપણા સમાજ માટે વધુ સારું કાર્ય કરીએ તે જ મારું ધ્યેય રહેશે.

મારું તથા કોઈપણ પ્રમુખ અને મેનેજિંગ કમિટીની મુખ્ય ભાવના એક જ હોય છે કે આપણા સમાજના હિત માટે, દરેક સભ્યના કલ્યાણ અને ઉત્થાન માટે, આપણા બાળકોના સર્વાંગી વિકાસ માટે અને સમાજની મહિલાઓના સશક્તિકરણ માટે કાર્ય કરવું. મહિલાઓમાં રહેલી શક્તિ, પ્રતિભા, સંસ્કાર અને ક્ષમતાને યોગ્ય મંચ અને માન્યતા મળે તે પણ એટલું જ આવશ્યક છે. એક પ્રગતિશીલ સમાજ એ છે જ્યાં દરેક વ્યક્તિને માન, સન્માન અને જોડાણની લાગણી અનુભવાય.

હું આ જવાબદારીને ઉત્સાહ, આશાવાદ અને સંપૂર્ણ સમર્પણ સાથે સ્વીકારું છું. મને આનંદ છે કે મને અમારા તમામ કમિટી સભ્યોનો તથા ખાસ કરીને અમારા પદાધિકારીઓ શ્રી રાજેશ શ્રીમાંકર, શ્રી મહેન્દ્ર શેઠ અને શ્રી બિપિન લોટિયા -મહાજનના ખજાનચી અને સચિવશ્રીઓનો સંપૂર્ણ સહકાર પ્રાપ્ત છે. સાથે જ મહાજન વાડી ટ્રસ્ટના તમામ આદરણીય ટ્રસ્ટીઓનું માર્ગદર્શન અને સહયોગ પણ અમૂલ્ય છે.

હું એવા કેટલાંક સમાજસેવક સભ્યોનો વિશેષ આભાર માનું છું, જે મહાજનના દરેક ઉત્સવ અને પ્રવૃત્તિમાં હંમેશાં આગળ રહી સેવા આપે છે. તેમાં શ્રી નિલેશભાઈ ધ્રુવ, શ્રી વિજયભાઈ સેલારકા, શ્રી જયેશભાઈ શ્રીમાંકર, શ્રી હિમાંશુભાઈ માંડવિયા, શ્રી દીપકભાઈ સેલારકા તથા અન્ય અનેક સભ્યોનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. તાજેતરમાં આપણા યુવાનો જેમ કે સહુંરભ મલકાણ, જય શેઠ અને અન્ય યુવા મિત્રો પણ ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક સમાજકાર્યમાં જોડાઈ રહ્યા છે, તે અત્યંત આનંદ અને ગૌરવની વાત છે. યુવાનોની આ ભાગીદારી આપણા સમાજના ઉજ્જવળ ભવિષ્યનું પ્રતિક છે.

મહાજન હંમેશાં સમાજના હિત માટે વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમો અને પ્રવૃત્તિઓ યોજતું આવ્યું છે અને આગળ પણ વધુ ઉત્સાહ સાથે યોજતું રહેશે. આ કાર્યક્રમો દ્વારા સમાજના દરેક વયના સભ્યોને સાથે જોડવાનો અમારો પ્રયાસ છે જેથી સમાજ વધુ એકતાસભર, સુસંગઠિત અને મજબૂત બને. જ્યારે લોકો વારંવાર મળે, પરસ્પર ઓળખ વધે, સ્નેહ અને સંબંધો ગાઢ બને અને સાથે મળીને વિકાસ કરે, ત્યારે જ સાચા અર્થમાં સમાજ નું ધ્યેય સિદ્ધ થાય છે. આવી એકતા અને ભાઈચારો જ આપણા સમાજની સતત પ્રગતિ અને અખંડિતતા માટે આધારસ્તંભ બની શકે છે.

હું આપ સહું સમાજબંધુઓને વિનમ્ર અપીલ કરું છું કે મહાજનના તમામ કાર્યો, પ્રવૃત્તિઓ અને સેવાકીય પ્રયાસોમાં આપનો સહયોગ, માર્ગદર્શન અને ઉદાર દાનભાવ યથાવત્ રાખશો. આપનો સહકાર જ અમારી શક્તિ છે.

આજે આપણા સમાજમાં અંદાજે ૩૭૫ પરિવારો અને આશરે ૧૧૦૦ જેટલા સભ્યો છે. આ સંખ્યા માત્ર આંકડો નથી, પરંતુ આપણી એકતા, શક્તિ અને સંભાવનાઓનું પ્રતિબિંબ છે.

સમાજના તમામ વાલીઓને મારી ખાસ વિનંતી છે કે તેઓ પોતાના વ્યસ્ત જીવનમાંથી થોડો સમય સમાજ માટે પણ ફાળવે અને પોતાના બાળકો તથા યુવા પેઢીને સમાજની પ્રવૃત્તિઓમાં જોડાવા પ્રોત્સાહિત કરે. આપણા યુવાનો પોતાના જ્ઞાતિબંધુઓ સાથે જોડાય, મિત્રતા વધારે અને ભાઈચારાની ભાવના મજબૂત બનાવે, એ સમયની જરૂરિયાત છે. જ્યારે આપણે એકબીજાને ઓળખીએ છીએ, ત્યારે એકબીજાના સુખદુઃખમાં સાથી બનીએ છીએ, વ્યવસાયિક અને સામાજિક રીતે પણ એકબીજાને મદદરૂપ બનીએ છીએ અને પરિણામે સમગ્ર સમાજ વધુ મજબૂત, સંગઠિત અને પ્રગતિશીલ બને છે. યુવાનો અને આગામી પેઢીની વધુ ભાગીદારીથી આપણો સમાજ માત્ર સમૃદ્ધ જ નહીં, પરંતુ શક્તિશાળી અને પ્રેરણાદાયી પણ બનશે. તેમની સક્રિયતા મેનેજિંગ કમિટીને પણ નવા અને વધુ સારા કાર્યક્રમો યોજવા પ્રેરણા આપે છે. આપના સૂચનો અને માર્ગદર્શન હંમેશાં આવકાર્ય છે, કારણ કે તે ભવિષ્યના આયોજન માટે અમૂલ્ય માર્ગદર્શક બને છે.

અમે સહું જાણીએ છીએ કે કાર્યક્રમો અને activities એ આપણો અંતિમ ધ્યેય નથી. તે તો માત્ર એક માધ્યમ છે, જેના દ્વારા આપણે એકબીજાને ઓળખીએ, નજીક આવીએ અને પરસ્પર પ્રેમ, ભાઈચારો, એકતા અને લાગણીનો વિકાસ કરીએ. આ જ ભાવના આપણને હિંમત, આત્મબળ, સંવેદના અને આંતરિક શક્તિ પ્રદાન કરે છે.

આગળ જઈને આપણે એવી પેટા સમિતિઓ ઉભી કરીશું, જેમાં આપણા યુવાનો, વેપારીઓ, ડૉક્ટરો, ચાર્ટર્ડ એકાઉન્ટન્ટ્સ, સોલિસિટર્સ અને વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રના પ્રતિભાશાળી સભ્યો સક્રિય રીતે જોડાઈ શકે. ચાલો, આપણે સહું સાથે મળીને દરેક કાર્યક્રમ અને activities ને સફળ બનાવીએ અને સાથે મળી ને આનંદ માણીએ.

હું આપ સહુંને આ નિર્મળ અને સામૂહિક પ્રયાસમાં સહભાગી થવા હાર્દિક આમંત્રણ આપું છું. કોઈપણ સમયે નિઃસંકોચ મને સંપર્ક કરશો. આપણે સહું સાથે મળીને સમાજના હિત અને ઉત્થાન માટે અનેક ઉત્તમ કાર્યો કરી શકીશું.

આગામી સમયમાં આપણને ઘણું કરવાનું છે. ચાલો, આપણે સહું એકતા, સમર્પણ અને સહકારથી આપણા સમાજના ઉજ્જવળ ભવિષ્ય માટે સાથે મળીને કાર્ય કરીએ.
